Why do we have so much pain, suffering, and disease?

Was part of a holistic healing center in the late 70s! Making white rice and white wheat flour throws away most of the magnesium, essential minerals and B-vitamins! By the way, if you don't remember dreaming, you are most likely vitamin B-6 deficient, which you need along with zinc to make stomach acid, which you need to digest protein, which you need to make muscles, blood, hormones, bones, skin, hair, etc...!

Around 1970 we had an experience with a young girl about the age of ten! I had just finished reading a thin little book published by Rodale. The title was Magnesium, the nutrient that could change your life.

The little girl had a cast on her leg that went from her ankle to her hip. Her cast had been on for six months because she had breaks in her tibia, fibula, and femur. She had been diagnosed with Osteogenesis lmperfecta, which means your bones don't heal and we don't know why. She had a history of her bones breaking from bumping into a footstool. We had just read about bones breaking due to magnesium deficiency and we had just learned that chelated magnesium was a very efficient way to get magnesium to go inside the cell (intracellular). We found the family diet was mostly sugar, white flour, and soda pop. We supplemented her with 75 milligrams of chelated magnesium per day and all three of her fractures healed in six weeks. The mother gave the rest of the family the same supplement and the mother's hands were healed of the terrible calcium deposits in both hands and the teenage sister was healed of her terrible menstrual cramps.

At the healing center, we observed forty different symptoms that improved when people took magnesium, many of which were life changing! We did diet surveys in conjunction with blood studies, hair analysis, and three months of follow up. We did find that testing the blood serum magnesium did not help detecting a clinical magnesium deficiency because only one percent of the body’s magnesium is in the serum. We would find major improvement in clinical symptoms and the serum magnesium levels could read high, low, or perfect.
We recently learned two important things from reading Dr. Carolyn Dean’s awesome book, The Magnesium Miracle. You can have a good blood test for your inter cellular magnesium levels. It must be RBC Magnesium (Red Blood Cell Magnesium) and not the typical serum magnesium which does not tell you the magnesium levels that are inside the cell. To have adequate magnesium levels inside the cell, the blood cell test results should be between 6 -6.8. The test says normal runs from 4 – 6.8., but Dr. Dean’s research shows the best clinical results when the Magnesium RBC test results are between 6 – 6.8.
